I was in Wally World over the weekend and toured the gun rack, as usual. I noticed this ADL in 7mm Rem Mag with a "discount" tag on it, marked down from $379 to $299. I asked the guy behind the counter about layaway plans, then he said, "wait a minute, I think that one got marked down further." He hit it with his price gun while I waited anxiously. The price made my jaw drop! He said, "it's half price, $184." Needless to say, I whipped out the credit card, and it's now mine!
Already ordered a Boyd's At-One stock and the Athlon Ares 4.5-27 that's on sale at Midway. Looking for more suggestions from you forum guys. This will be a 300-400 yard whitetail rig. Yes, I reload.

That is one sweet deal. It's identical to mine and it shoots great, half MOA loads with bullets ranging from 140gr to 162gr. It's probably the best purchase I have ever made.

I put on a Vortex scope, adjusted the trigger to 2.5 lbs and painted the stock fde at first, after a few hunts and scratches repainted it to a kinda of cammo pattern. It's my go to rifle right now.

I found one of these as well in 270, I didn't need it but phoned a relative that did.

Almost as good as the gloss wood weatherby vanguard I bought for 249$

Wal mart is doing what Dick's did a couple of years back . They are unloading their guns and going to stop selling guns . They say it's due to all of the mass shootings taking place in the U.S. .

Walmart has said nothing about not selling hunting rifles, that's one of the few things they haven't talked about yet. Only scary rifles and scary ammo.
