if YOU want to build it the savage long action 300wm would be a great starting point get on savageshooter website sharpshootersupply for triggers and wood stocks northland shooter supply for barrel and stockade for fiber stocks all off the forum if you get a savage with the accru trigger you could probly leave it i went with stevens 200 7mag $320 new witch has the old trigger and flimsy stock junked both right from the start stockade paire dog and sss trigger great so far in the process of ordering barrel 30" 338 edge im probly go with DE brake someone already hit all the good brakes might add the holland QD to list it works good too will need to pratice alot judgeing etc before taking a shot at animal
