Spotting scope recommendations size and models

Binos take you so far then nothing beats a great spotting scope , put it this way spotting scoped eves n fawns 2.5 miles away ,to the naked eye just scenery ,Binos they all looked like matching rocks on the Mtn side ! My 77 APO Leica told me there were no Males in that whole bunch of sheep ,for judging and really seeing by the best yu can afford .

I started off with the small spotters to save weight but immediately regretted it and now carry a 85mm. Nothing more frustrating then not being able to see clearly at first and last light and a big objective is needed for that. I do spend hours behind the spotting scope and to me it's worth it's extra weight. Buy once cry once!
