Spotting Scope Help

I have a Redding Spotting Scope that I have used for about 20 years and I think it's time for something a little better. I do alot of shooting with the varmint class rifles and need something that I can see .17 to .22 cal. holes in the black at 100 yards. My old Redding is pretty marginal. Is there anything out there for under $500 that will help these old eyes. Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

Celestron Ultima 80 for less than $200 is a great unit. I see holes at 300 yds easy

You might watch ebay for demos and good used scopes of the top tier such as Leica, Swarovski, and Kowa. Their mid-size models i.e. 60 - 62mm occasionally go around this price - maybe just a wee tad more - for demos which usually come with a lifetime warranty.

nikons are a good mid priced spotting scope you may find one on here www.samplelist.com I have a meopta spotter that works great great glass but they cost more.
