Picked up a Savage 110 Long Action rifle a while back, was going to use it for a long range hunting build but I have WAY too many projects right now. Between the Winchester 54 & 70 builds, Mauser and multiple Remington builds I'm seriously backed up.
So....I'm letting the Savage go.
Per the title:
- Long Action Staggered Feed, bolt spacing is just over 5" (I think 5.062 is the official number)
- blued with silver bolt handle
- 3 screw adjustable trigger
- I trued the receiver face, internal locking lugs and barrel nut. I did it in the lathe using a close fit mandrel. Don't remember the exact indicator readout but it should be under .0005"
- magnum bolt face
- Includes mag box, barrel nut, follower & spring, recoil lug (I included an extra because I don't need it) and single shot follower (again because I don't need it)
- replaced trigger spring w/ smaller diameter piano wire to lighten pull weight, including original wire
- lightly lapped/honed/polished the trigger surfaces
The receiver is basically perfect. When I got it it was a 7mm Rem Mag. There was no muzzle blast marks at all, I honestly don't think it has ever been fired.
$265 plus shipping & insurance
Bullets:
270 Cal
- 130 grain Nosler Solid Base Ballistic Tip (23 count)
- 140 grain Nosler Solid Base Ballistic Tip (76 count) both combined $10 plus shipping
30 cal
- 150 grain Nosler Solid Base Ballistic Tip (92 count) $15 plus shipping
- 155 grain Hornady A-Max (sealed box of 100) $20 plus shipping
If you have any questions or if my prices are way off please let me know!
