Spence Helms custom knives

Beautiful pair of custom made Spence Helms fixed blade knives. The smaller knife is 7 1/2" overall with 3 1/4" blade. Larger knife is 8 1/4 overall with a 4 1/4" blade. Both marked Helms maker Ackerman Ms I had him make these for me as a pair, never used never carried. $175 each plus shipping or will take $350 for both & I`ll pay shipping & insurance in lower 48

Both knives are very close in shape, I really don`t remember what steel he uses other than high carbon steel? I have another custom skinner he made to my design, and you can skin several deer without having to resharpen it, he makes them to use.

Here is a picture of all 3 of my Helms knives, the left is my skinner he made to my spec`s it is not for sale! I guess me buying 3 is a testimony to the quality of his work & the steel he uses! I have not had any problems with his knives holding an edge!

I did some checking they are likely made from D2 steel.
