As compared to the steel bipods like GG&G and Harris?I use Accutac's. They're actually pretty heavy. Otherwise they're rock solid awesomeness but they are pretty weighty.

I get that. I'm a function over form guy though. I don't care what it looks like if it does the job I want.That doesn't look like something I would want to put on a hunting rifle. Maybe on my AR10 though.
It's easily heavier than my harris (SR-5 vs. 6-9" notch leg harris with cant). I haven't used a GG&G so I can't comment on that. I can get an actual weight later on if that's not published data but, yes, it's not the lightest thing out there. I picked them both up this morning and completely spaced bringing them to the office to get a good weigh on them. The mark-1 hand scale says the harris is about 1/2 - 1/3 the weight.Thanks.
