Hello,
I was looking for a place to recreational shoot long range down here. I am just outside Camp Pendleton. I know that I can drive up to Barstow but was looking for a closer place to shoot without having to got to a range. Anything will help.

There's a place in Pala, next to Fallbrook. Been stationed in Pendleton myself, so I know it's very close to you.

It's a range. Never been there myself (I live further north and have my own 'neck of the woods' type), but the word is there is a membership fee ($50.00 annual), free for active duty and active LEO. However, you can sign yourself in as a guest without a sponsor up to 3X before they ask you to become a member.
