As of this moment we have steel to 1200 yards. By Tuesday should have steel to 1400 yards. That is as far as we can go.

The plan is to make of for lack of distance with steel.

As of today we have 8 pieces of steel to 1200 yards. Between today 9/29 and Tueday 10/3 we should take delivery of 7 more. A week after that 11 more. Giving us 2 MOA, 1 1/2 MOA and 1 MOA at distances of 800, 1000, 1200 and 1400 yards.

Then we can have a pew...........ding match.

And camping. We will have camping on match weekends.

Members for "practice" shoots. Everyone for matches.
open Every Thursday. Most Saturday mornings for members. The weekend with the 4th Sunday is our match weekend. Range time can be had Friday, almost all day Saturday and all day Sunday.

Yesterday we had our first post match BBQ. More food than we could eat.

FWI: Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays that are not our match weekend, there are other groups that are the Range Master, we shoot at their permission.

At the moment, the range opens at nine on all practice days. Match day is at the control of the Match Director (usually me).

We are hoping for a formal match for December 24th but it is Christmas eve.

Format will be a basic "sniper" qualification. 2 of 5 for qualification at distance. Then 10 for record. Those with over 4 hits in the record round move on. Longer distance or smaller target. Out to 1,400 yards.

Oh, one more thing. As SLOSA Delta-LR is a non-profit and needs the revenue, match fees are $25. You can shoot all day after the match. The day before for match participants is free shoot/practice all day.

There is camping available with water and power. Camping is $13
