The older gentleman have an annual trip. They limited out on bass and bluefish. They also caught some green bonito.

A couple nights we found the squid and predators very good. The tuna was a nice fish in the 600s live weight. The monster sword was caught by a couple friends of mine. 588#. Matt told me they couldn't believe it when it came up. First sword on that boat

Congrats to one and all !!! & Thk you Very much for posting , looks like your a fine Captain ,Great pixs n memories Bravo!!!
It seems the more I go the luckier I get. Tough year. Had boat issues on the boats I work on. Missed 5 tournaments total between the 4 different boats. Then September and October the wind was brutal. I got hurt end of October so the best part of the season I was laid up. One of the people I part time for has hired me full time next season. We have been boat shopping since end of September for his next one. I have a bunch of pictures I'm trying to get out of text msgs from customers. I was slacking this season with my own pictures. Some good stories of the ones that got away too!!

Our 5th place big eye
Peter's wahoo on the deck. They had 5 rods go off all with monofilament. Wahoo have the sharpest teeth in the sea. They got lucky and landed this one.
A customer in a tournament. They won the wahoo division and about 9k with this fish.
Lou crushed the tuna in the same event. 2nd largest. And he had 29 total
A September slob from my friends brother. I had to leave about an hour before they hooked up. 540ish core 725ish live dependent on what it had 8n its stomach

Nearing the end. Uh oh it's all over but the crying. Funny story. This is a very good friend. He called me and ask me this. Rich I want to catch a big f'ng swordfish. Not one of those Rat's xxxxxx catches but a big f'er. I sent him some satellite photos of where to go. He calls me back and says hey this just confuses me. So I said just goto #4 area at midnight and at the tide change you will get your bite. He did and it did. I had told him to bring his 130s. He put out 50s and this is the result. He still hasn't recovered. Best part was I got a phone call the morning after it happened from a boat out there. He told me about some guy that got spooled by a monster sword. I laughed and said to hail him on the radio and tell him Rich asked what bait got hit. Which I had rigged for his trip lol.

Unfortunately I can't upload a cool video I have of the landlord collecting her rent. If anyone wants a cool txt msg of a white shark let me know

Although I have always fished and loved it, it seems that I have never really been fishing. Can a person book fishing trips like that? What is the price point for that type of trip? That is simply amazing, thanks for sharing.

The canyon/overnight trips on the big boat a 55' Viking 100ish miles offshore start at 5k for 24hrs. For inshore bluefin in my 23' center console 800 a day 12hr day. For striped bass bluefish inshore species when available 450 half day 600 8hr day. Bass fishing at night on commercial nights 40 a person but the boat keeps all but 1 fish for the client Limit of 15. This trip will be for as long as the bite goes could be 2hrs could be 6. Usually biggest fish are at night but so are the biggest crowds. Non commercial night trips are standard charter rates.
This coming season I most likely will be running a 40 something footer that would put the 100 mile trips closer to 4k for 24hrs. Mostly because the range is a little more limited and the fuel burn would be in the 550-650 gallon range vs 950-1200 gallons on the big boat.
You can pm me for contact info I can send you a neat video of one of the areas I spend alot of time in at night:D
