what part of idaho? ever travel down to utah? how hot are your loads your using? whats the expected round count out that barrel? 2000? if memory serves thats pretty comparable to the 6.5 284 as far as barrel burners. also the ff brass you are using is it just 2506 brass ran through a 6.5 06 full sizer ? do they still do it like that or did i miss that boat? :)

I don't get down to Utah much

The load is what was recommended by Travis at RBros, not hot or mild

Travis says 2500+ rounds

yes, on brass prep and 25-06 brass is plentiful and cheap. Fire form loads run 2950 fps with under 1/2 moa accuracy. Full power loads run at 3100 fps with under 1/2 moa accuracy.

This is basically the ballistic twin of a 6.5 SAUM with cheap easy to find brass and dies.
