Gun does have a brake on it now. It has a weatherby accubrake. I am thinking I will just pull this add. I have had it at $950 shipped now installed a accubrake $100 add-on Threading $150, and stock painting $150. For a total of $400 worth of add-on on a gun that sells for $1700 new.

I shot this rifle today and this Accubrake is very effective... 243 recoil now. No exaggeration.. This is a very nice looking rifle and is customized enough that when leaning against a tree with 4 other , there will be no doubt which one was yours. Jason lives close to me and is a straight shooter. You can buy with confidence... Dave

The recoil on this gun is very mild now. I am surprised how effective that brake is. With all the work done I am raising the price to $1200 to offset investments to significantly improve the recoil reduction. This will include the brass I have and leaving the rings but pulling the scope. If you want the scope in the package, I will add it on for $100. It is a vxii 3-9x40. If it don't sell with the package it is not for sale at this price. Thanks for the interest.

I found a few 185 berger vld hunting from a gun I did in the past. I stuck a huskemaw on this gun and ran out to shoot it. I through the bore, bore sighted it. Then shot two and went to 591 yards. And shot four. By no means any load workup was done. We used to shoot the 200 accubonds in this before we serious into long range hunting. Huskemaw is not included in the price you want it how it sits let me know. Otherwise I am holding onto the scope. and talleys.
