The nastiest I've even seen was a jack rabbit shot with a .300 win mag at 100 yards running. Bullet was a 110 grain silver tip. Pretty much just ears and one foot left.

Got the bright idea to rabbit hunt with my 22-250 one time. It was all I had with me at the moment.

Figured I'd head shoot him but I bobbled a little and hit him about the shoulders. 55gr sp. No joke, all we found was the back feet where he was sitting.

ELDX on coyotes is perfect in my State! their pelt has no value so we treat them like ground squirrels! turn them inside out! I questioned Hornady after watching a ELDX blow apart pretty much on contact of a whitetails shoulder it was fired from a tact driving 7mm Sendero ultra mag @150 yards, Hornady reminded my of the velocity and close distance and shouldn't be surprised because it indeed is a Long Range Bullet. I quickly started loading them in my varmint guns and love the performance and results
