Softball Size Exit Hole on Yote

Caught this one in my garden. He was looking at me and I hit him just above his left eye. 6.5CM with 143 gr ELDX at 70 yards. Never seen an exit hole like this even with my larger magnums.

270 Winchester with Sierra 90g HP loaded to 3600 does that kind of damage along with a 257 Weatherby with 100g Ballistic tips at 3850!

I love it when they do not suffer....hee hee!

High impact velocity and frangible projectiles are prone to that. Exiting the "paunch" also almost always results in good-sized exit wounds.

I've had paunch exits that looked like Feenix's with a 243Win shooting 85gn TSX @ 200yds and in.
