Started using LC pulled and primed brass with 50-80 fps faster in my 308's than Lapua brass. Run them thru 30 cal expander to uniform case mouth. Tension is still good enough to shoot from gas guns. Heavy bullets (175-190) gr shoot lights out at OAL of 2.825 in multiple platforms. My AI-AE I loads out to 2.950. Bought that AI 25 yrs ago for single stack mag which has longest inside diameter of any 308. (3.00)....Shoot F-class with 190 Bergers , 43gr Varget or fav 47.5 MR2000 behind 175 SMK at Vel2700. THESE ARE MAX LOADS.. WORK UP YOUR LOADS CAREFULLY!!!!!!!Had good results with CFE223 in 20"LTR. 27.5 behind 175 SMK, vel 2675 BUT, huge difference form lot to lot, refer to previous sentence. Side note: same 308 LC pulled brass resized for my 260 give me 75-100 FPS with less powder. Same for 338 Federal using this brass, just run 33 cal expander and load, least expensive loading and shooting off those cals for maximum results...…...…......…...….
