Yup. Only 45 permits. After 23 years, and many preference points, my partner got drawn this year. I'm working extra on my leg strength this Summer

Go high and glass! Look for places that are very difficult to stalk them. They don't get to be big by getting careless. Slot of times they will use smaller Buck's as bait. Six sets of eyes are better than two. Good luck.

Use to be commonly said if you know the state,your better off with general tag.Im having to migrate east,lot quality bucks wacked over there last year

I'm pretty sure I know which district you have drawn. I drew this tag a few years back and was successful (4 point 175") but was surprised on how many huge 3 pointers there were and not that many 4 point or larger. This is a very large area with miles and miles of roads so lots and lots of glassing time is required. And of course everyone knows during the rut you will see way more larger bucks.
