Size 15 boots

Good, bad or indifferent God chose to bless me with big feet. So finding boots isn't always easy. I wear a 15 medium. I have found one pair on the Kenetrek website and the Lowa website. The Kenetrek's have a 10" upper which I am not really fond of and the Lowa's are almost $800. I believe in buying quality but dang.

Scheels has several pair of size 15 boots. I dont know anything about them. Are they quality boots? Is there another company with larger sizes that you would recommend?

For reference, I need a mountain type boot. I am going on a backcountry bear hunt next spring.

Danner still builds some made in USA boot, try the Elk Hunters, they're Gore-Tex .

Irish Setter does or did have larger sizes. I wear Sasquatch size 15-16 XWide and Irish Setters had what I needed. Heavy though, water resistant has held up well. I purchased a 16H, leaves track that scares people. And animals.... did I say heavy though?

I will throw a plug for kenetrek. I wear them in a 13W. Great boot!
