Sightron scopes

I have had Sightrons for years they all are hard to rotate at first. What I have learned is if you rotate it back and forth about 10 times it goes away. One of our scope is like this every time I brake it out at the range i just rotate a few times and it is good for least the whole range session.

I have a vari xIII Leupold that is exactly the same. 20 yrs old.

Just got a fresh SIII 8-32 a few weeks ago and the first thing I did was check the parallax knob because I've heard of some people having this problem. Mine is smooth and easy to turn right out of the box. Guess I got lucky

Received my sightron a couple days ago after having the parallax knob looked at. It seems easier to turn they said they loosened the knob and cleaned the lenses looks good bad news after shoulder replacement a couple weeks ago kinda puts that on the back burner
