Sig cross in 6.5 creedmoor

Well I think this rifle is starting to settle down. I knew I was in for some frustration trying to use superformance, which has a track record of being finicky, and some 142gr Nosler ABLR, but it's what I've got. I'm 105rds thru this barrel now and the action has slicked up some and the barrel is easy to clean. Mine handles pressure very well and seems to shoot tighter the higher I go. Switched from Winchester primers to CCI and the fliers went away. I wanted to give superformance a go since, if you can find a load, it will be easily 100-200fps faster than anything else and with a short barrel that helps. I shot a few with my suppressor off and lost about 30fps.

Mine seems to shoot heavy bullets better than the light stuff. I'm going to try some 147 eld-m bullets and see how it does with them. I've got several hundred of them, so I hope it likes them. I've killed a handful of deer with that bullet from both the creedmoor and prc, and it is lethal. I'll be taking my cross to the mountains the weekend after next to chase black bears. I'm excited about folding it up and strapping it to my pack for the big climbs.

Yeah it sure is compact. I'm going to push mine faster with the superformance and might even try a magnum primer. Also from what I've read, superformance like to be at 100% case fill as most ball powders do.

We shoot them in 22" CM and 24" Swede and 21.5" Swede improved and they do are great job other than 10 yards. lol

Update, cleaned the barrel and shot my 130gr berger load again at 100 yards. Not sure if the top one was a flyer, but I can't shoot this little gun much better than that!

Very happy with how it's shooting and hopefully will be able to knock some critters down with it soon.

For anyone that's interested, this is 20 thousands off the lands with 40 rounds down the barrel.

I just took mine out and shot three different loads. I'm using 140 Barnes match burners (literally I could find at the time) but it shot really well with H4350 with 42.5gr. 0.73" 5-shot group. It grouped better the more powder I used. I'm going to load some more with higher powder charges.

I have done loads of testing.

Stock Sig Cross 6.5 without suppressor

140gr ELDM

40.9-41.1gr H4350 (This was pretty good with Winchester Large Magnum and havent tried with cci 250 yet) Not Suppressed
42.1gr H4350 (CCI 250) With Hybrid 46M suppressor

2.830 Coal
Starline Brass 1.910
CCI 200 Large Magnum Primers

40.9-41.1
.4 MOA
2560FPS which I didn't love but they're accurate.

42.1
.4 MOA
2650FPS

143gr ELDX
44.4-44.7gr of Staball 6.5
(Haven't done much work on this one yet but that window is pretty accurate so far)
2780FPS (Hybrid46M)
Starline Brass 1.910
CCI 200

I plan to do some lower charge weights just to see if I missed a window.

Also want to try this with the 140gr eldm but ran out of them.

Anyone else have similar data or a decent window for Staball 6.5 and 140eldm or 143x?
Also has anyone tried
120 eldm
123 eldm
130eldm?

Id like to mess with these after shooting the Hornady 120gr cx rounds.
They were deadly accurate but shooting 800 plus with 5-10 mph winds in MT obviously wasn't the best choice of ammo.
