Sierra Game King 65gr./224

Stadoc
Don't know what rig you have but the 65 gr SGK is an awesome bullet in a .223 for Yotes. Our favorite bullet. If you can find them and get a good load worked up buy a bunch of the 65 SGK. I remember a few years ago they were very hard to find.
Thanks for the heads up. That's exactly what I want it for yotes. It's for a steyr bolt action with a 20 in barrel. The rifle is super accurate with 60g nosler but I was intrigued by the 65 g and got a great deal on 250 of them.

This is what's in my book I just got

You will like the 65 gr SGK all depends if your barrel likes them!

Len, I personally think they would be good on deer sized game also. I've never tried them because I have other calibers for deer, but seeing them take down yodel dogs, I can't help but think that they would work.
Absoulty! We have plenty of Deer cartridges, but would not hesitate to use on a Deer size animal.

I killed my antelope this year with a 22. Nosler Loaded with 65gr GK's @ 3300. Talk about a thing of beauty. No blood shot, you could eat right up to the entrance/exit holes.

Definitely don't hesitate to use them on deer.

We tried many combinations of bullets and powder and finally landed on the 65 gr GK 21.4 grains of H4198 which shot half moa in two different guns. Just remember to start low and work your way up.
