Sierra 183gr match king for7prc

So I found a deal the other day on a 500ct box of 183gr Sierra match kings for 7mm it was only around $150 and felt too good to pass up.

I started looking on forums for info on them in 7prc and have found none, it seems as if nobody is using this bullet for 7prc!

Does anyone know why or have any experience with it?

not yet as i haven't finished my ar7saum. attentively built, but not solid yet. 28" 8t +2 gas x-cal. sierra #6 has the saum w/183's @2,800 w/24" barrel. do you know what it is to the lands? maybe use nosler's 185 data for referencing of powder, but the 3.340" should be close. i was really wanting the 197smk's, but could only get an 8t (7-7.5 was required).

ql doesn't have the 7prc as of yet from my last update.

just doing some cross checking and it looks like 7rm and the 7prc has nearly the same.

They wouldn't make it if it didn't shoot, just use any 180 grain cup and core bullet data. Start low and work up, I use 180 bergers with n570.

I wasn't necessarily looking for load data I can figure that out I was just wondering if they just don't perform well in 7prc seems like they should be a good fit but no one seems to be using them

They will work great for banging steel. The factory point leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to pure precision.
