There is another way to go if you have the funds. Syren makes a women's version of the XLR5. It is a 7# 12ga, and comes in camo. This thing is literally the softest shooting 12ga on the planet. Load it with 2-3/4" shells and it will kick less than most gas 20 semis. Available for the incredibly low price of $2k. My youngest daughter shoots a customized Zoli Bella at skeet. Those run about $10k. Kreigoff's and Kolars start at about $15k and can easily run $30-50k. Don't think you will get off cheap because its for a girl. Women's guns typically are more than left hand guns, with even less selection. Guess that's why we don't have many women shooters. Good thing really. They tend to beat us and its bad for the ego.
