I think adding a moderator makes the rifle look cool, mean and just the business.
Ive currently got several types of moderator and am always on the look out for more.
Ive a
Brugger & Thomet G
A-tec
Reflex T8
Lapwood Husher
all work.
The B&T is rock solid, works excellently, but is unfortunately all infront of the muzzle and is heavey.
The A-tec works well, weighs only 500g, is stripable for cleaning and only extends the barrel; minimaly.
The Reflex T8 works well but is a cheaply built piece of junk, that would be fine if it only cost 30 quid.
The lapwood husher is an interesting design that works well with full power ammo, but, due to its baffleless design is useless with subsonic ammo.
Ive also made several my self over the years.
Ive come to the conclusion that a combination of alluminium and stainless steel lends its self well to moderator manufacture.
Brit, when are we up for that curry?
and is 25 quid to thread a barrel, worth the loss of your hearing?
now which EU country was it that ok'd the granting of moderator licenses for people with hearing damage? isn't that shuting the stable door once the horse has bolted ?
