Would there be any issue shooting 6.5x55 ammo though a 6.5 creedmoor rifle?
Yeah, it's the wrong cartridge for the 6.5 creed. The bullet diameter and case head (primer end) are the only thing they have in common. Just taking a quick glance at the saamj drawings I don't think youd even be able to close the bolt on a x55 in the Creedmoor.
Don't try it.

After a fifth of Jack? Yes.....Was this a SERIOUS question??
I was wondering that too, my Wife has one of each but I don't think I have to worry with that one!Good luck cramming a 2.165" long case into a 1.920" chamber....
YES! Do NOT do it.Would there be any issue shooting 6.5x55 ammo though a 6.5 creedmoor rifle?
But you can't shoot a .375 Wby in a .375 H&H....Well, you can shoot a 244 remington into a 6mm remington. A 375 h&h into a 375 weatherby , a 44 spécial into a 44 magnum...etc .we all started not knowing anything about the subject. I suggest for the op to read the book cartridges of the world to learn more .
