Yes it is a VX6HD 4x24, probably should have went smaller but my old eyes need help.Is a gunwerks action, Muller 1-8 twist number 5 contour SS fluted and cerakoted. Timney trigger set at 2.5 pounds.Carbon fiber stock.weighs in at 8 pounds 12 oz. Little heavy but went with a large scope have bad eyes!Shoots like a dream so far.Nice rifle.....is that a leupold VX6HD on top? Leupold is the way to go for combined quality and weight.
What bullet or bullets are you shooting? Which powder are you using?? Just curious. I just had my 6.5-284 rebarreled and finished load development recently. Love this cartridge. It's stupid how accurate it is. I'm shooting a 140gr VLD, 140gr BT, and my hunting bullet of choice is the all copper 124gr Hammer Hunter bullet[/QUOTE
Just curious. Mainly what powder, bullet and velocity. I've got my rifle dialed in, but always like to know what others are using when getting great results. It's more for future referenceHonestly I'm not doing the load development. Don't have the knowledge or equipment yet. I can ask him if he minds me giving out his recipe, if he will tell me.
Thanks for the input. I am so sick of cardio training! Every day I do 6 miles with a 80 pound pack up and down the sides of a local gravel pit.Anxiously awaiting news from your adventure. For what it's worth summer has been mild, so far, up here.
Yep, but you will appreciate all that hard work when you get up in the mountains. Good luck and make sure you post pictures. Thanks for the input. I am so sick of cardio training! Every day I do 6 miles with a 80 pound pack up and down the sides of a local gravel pit.
