Can a factory sendero stock be widened enough to accept a Krieger HV contour or should I go the aftermarket route?

Sorry, I was referring to widening the barrel channel on a remington sendero vssf II to accept the HV barrel which is 1.250 at the shank and tapers to .900 at the muzzle. Any thoughts?

It should pose no problem.

If your needing a short action I have one already opened for a light varmint, I would trade for one with standard barrel channel. Would save some you some time. Just send me a PM.

It is done all of the time ,And these are good stocks to build on.
