I did a search on the pros/cons of FFP vs. SFP on this site and one very good point that was made against 2nd focal plane reticles is that in low light at low magnification you won't be able to see the reticle (see Pete Lincoln's post here: http://longrangehunting.com/ubbthreads/s...=true#Post19035
The original discussion that Pete was apart of didn't seem to include illuminated reticles, so in a low light situation would there be no disadavantage to the SFP reticle due to regardless of the size of the reticle it would be illuminated? Or would there still be a disadvantage to the SFP? Thanks.
