Seating depth vs powder

Probably a silly question that I have a fair idea on but...
When you find that "sweet spot" off the lands for your rifle, might that depth change if you try a different powder in that same rifle with the same bullet?
My guess is no, .xxx off the lands holds for that bullet in that rifle.

With my rifles I have found that the optimum searing depth does not change with powder or charge size. I don't start seating depth testing until I have a powder that gets me at 1MOA or less. Once I get a load that looks good I may still try fine tuning with either/both seating depth and weight if I think I can squeeze out a little more performance(accuracy, velocity, ES).

You're right.
Powder is independent.
