Do you mean .010 (hundreth) or .001 (thousand) If you are talking .010 of an inch this is major and something is seriously out of wack, If you mean a .001 this is very easy to get variables from anywhere. Having clean precise measuring insruments, And using the same technique everytime will result in consistant measurments.
