SOLD/EXPIRED Sealed 8lb jug of H1000

Crazy you would need to pass a class to be able to put a plastic jug in a cardboard box and tape it up. They don't ship powder any special way. It's just shipped like anything else. So you have to put a 28 dollar sticker on the box.

Too bad it ain't that easy. The shipper needs to know the laws and how to properly classify and apply appropriate placards, plus a lot of other stuff. There would be hell to pay if not done correctly.

Also, cartridges don't explode in a fire.

I have been certified to ship hazmat. It is not as simple as put a jug in a box and send it on its way. The rules and regulations are crazy and can be confusing at times. Each material is identified by a specific UN # and depending on quantity, is required to be shipped a certain way. They have specific ways that each material has to be packaged. Some can only be shipped ground. It also has to be declared so the driver and emergency responders know what's on the truck in case of emergency.I could go on and on but it quite boring, yet very important stuff.

Lithium batteries are now hazmat because of the accidents on planes caused by them.
