Nikon monarch 6-24 50mm
leo vx-iii 6.5-20 50mm

have the nikon but could trade straight up for the leo..

What do you guys think? Pro and cons?

Thnx for any help

I don't know what your primary uses are, but I'm shooting deer and yotes across open fields sometimes late into the evening. I sold the same Leo and am now shooting the Nikon 6x24 and love it. The nikon is clearer and sharper at high power, where the leo lost some at 20x. The nikon is also soooo much better in the light transmission department.(I'm assuming your Nikon is a Monarch ie, 95% light trans) I have this setup on a Mauser based 308 Norma Mag that I was about ready to get rid of and now is one of my favorites because of this scope. Just my .02$. MIKE

I was thinking of getting the nikon also for a long range deer scope? Is there anyway to have tactical turrets added to these scopes? What is yalls overall opinion on this scope?

I did the same thing last year. Sold a new Leo and bought the Nikon.
