Does anybody have suggestions on a set of scope rings $50 or under. They will be for a picatinny rail no MOA cant 1 inch tube. It'll be going on my 783 6.5 Creedmoor.

In this game, you really get what you pay for. Not being a smarta$$, but I would recommend saving up another $100 and buy a good high-quality set of rings, like Seekins Precision. That's what i run on most all of my rifles. They're lightweight, extremely strong, and very concentric (on a good rail, no need to lap your rings).

I've been impressed with Talley Lightweights. I had a set on a light 300 win mag and they gave me no problems even after 400 rounds. The vortex PMRs have been great too.

This is something that is between my son and a buddy we're all building budget 6.5 Creedmoor's. We are just starting out in this game.

you added info to your OP-- its for a rem 783 budget/entry level rifle--I would ditch the rail that came with the rifle and try some talley's for about $35, or if you want to stay with rem parts, they have a similar mounting system available https://www.remington.com/shop/Model-783-Integral-Scope-Mounts-(Medium)---Black/p/19731

the rail and rings and scope that come with the 783 are all junk IMHO

wish you well with the 783, they seem to be hit/miss, hope you all got good ones

For good quality and no 'ring' marks on your scope, please look at the Burris Signature rings. You'll be happy you did.

MSRP is $54 but you'll find them for less than $50
They come in "Weaver" style so they'll fit all Picatinny rails.

EDIT as of 8-7-19 @ 4:48pm:
A "Signature" ring set has the polymer inserts. A "Zee" ring set is designed to fit on a Weaver-style rail. If you want BOTH the inserts and the Weaver base, you need a "Signature Zee" ring set. Signature rings (both Zee and non-Zee) are available in either 1″ or 30mm, and there is also a 1″ rimfire version.

I'm the only one with a 783 I'm on a tight budget. So far she seems good. So you can pick up a picatinny rail from Talley for 35 bucks I can see that in the future if they're worth it

The Talley light weights can be purchased at Optics Planet for <$50 delivered. My in law just bought a set last week for his new 783 he won in a raffle.

Just to clarify, the 783's are available three ways: Tupperware stock with or without mounted scope, walnut stock with Weaver type bases and the Varmint model with laminate stock, 26" barrel and picatinny rail.
