I am looking for the old school Heavy plex that comes in real close to the center like the old Burris and Zeiss use to have . It made a small box around the center of the cross hairs. That is what I am looking for. Thanks for your help

I haven't looked through a lot of new model scopes with a Duplex, but I will pass along that I replaced a heavy duplex Leupold on my carbine 7600 snow tracking rig with a Sightron 1.75-5, and I don't notice any difference with quickness getting on moving targets in heavy cover. The ER and EB on the sightron are better and the scope is a bit brighter, so it's just faster to use overall.

4x16 . These are for a hunting rigs ot 500 yards. That would be the Heavy duplex reticle
I know reticles are highly subjective, so I almost hesitate to ask, but I am curious, so . . . You want a heavy/thick duplex for out to 500 Yds? A couple heavy duplexes that I ran years ago cover a lot of target at that range. One of the reasons I moved away from them. That, and I found that I didn't really need them up close. I've had a few #4's, and while it's certainly a great reticle for it's intended purpose, I've found that, for me, FOV and forgiving EB are the main factors in how easy it is to get on a close target in heavy cover.

I might still have a couple of heavy duplex scopes on the shelf if you'd be interested. They'd be low power though, like 1.5-5 and 2-7.

I had a Bushnell 3200 firefly, very heavy retical that glowed in dark after being in daylight or ya shined a small penlight in objective. Not made anymore.Optics planet still show it on their site.Clearer than the VXII I have had, it lived on a 444 and 45-70 marlins and It left and is still on a 8mm/06 Mauser, never failed.

I think Leupold will still do a custom reticle for you if it's a Leupold scope, I know they have in the past because I had them do quite a few of them done for me years back. Cheers

Unless something changed very recently, they haven't done reticle swaps in years.

Sounds like you are talking about a Duplex style reticle? If so, there are several suppliers of this style…ie.Leopold

Here is a link to a shop that does reticle replacements. I have a rifle scope there that is waiting for return shipment now.
