Scope for the GP 100?

I went to the range today and tried it out. Here's my 9.0 grain Unique load with a 125 XTP at 25 yards. Got some work to do but I was encouraged by this. The 158 Grain factory stuff was OK too but not as tight. Afraid to ask but would the 125 XTP dispatch a doe at 20-25 yards or is it too marginal?

My analogy, looks like you can handle the recoil, If you can put it in the boiler room behind the shoulder blade, it should work.
To many people shoot larger, bigger, flinch, miss or ?.
Check the manual of bullet Manufacture. They usually have a listing of there recommended use for there bullets.
