Unfortunately scammers are now a part of life. Common sense goes a long way though. I've had attempts from scumbags on multiple sites mentioned here. The slide, 24hr, CouesWT. They lurk around and then jump on and try and scam us. It's almost always a "want add" I see people scammed.
They are everywhere yesterday on sniper hide forum I answered a WTS add for a Ruth ar buttstock tub spring buffer $50 shipped I pmed the seller he answered right back I asked for a phone call he stated thru pm at work can't talk ok call me when you get a minute hour later a text came to my phone quote U BUY AR BUTTOCK GO TO WALMART SEND ME MONEY wow really I deleted our hole pm what little conversation we had contacted the forum I told them what happened they responded choose your business dealings wisely IM NOT USING THAT FORUM AGAIN
