What options do I have if I've been scammed through an ad on this website? Sent postal MO, it was cashed but no shipping info. The conversations about the deal have been deleted

I was looking for an older zeiss scope & got a reply that this guy had one so we continued the conversation until he received payment now the conversations are deleted

I've given him until this evening to reply before I post his info & file a mail fraud claim

I hate to say it but the guys who post "wanted" ads have scammers just looking for these types of ads. It's not just here at LRH, I've heard about this type of scam in many places. Scammers always have what you want and at an attractive price.

It's odd how your guy isn't concerned that you have his name and address.

He has until this evening to reply but I'm sure since he deleted the conversations on here and I gave me false information about his Gunbroker account, he's a scammer.

What older zeiss are you looking for? I've got several "vintage" in my safe.

Shelbyville IN. Aaron Coultson was the name given . Calopps was his name on here. He also used the name aaron_hall92 as his gunbroker user name to make his scam sell. I'll publish his address & email address later

If it were a CENTEX address I'd go check it out for you. Maybe there is a member in Shelbyville who doesn't take kindly to scammers.
