If it was only 11 hours or less since last contact and uninvolved people went vigilante and starting publishing personal details.
Yeah, I'd be just as hard on them. The dollar amount doesn't matter.
A little investigation, patience and reasonableness and the two dumpster fires would have not happened.

It was a little hard to determine the "who" with so few words but I get it now.
So, yes. Someone is calling someone a "SCAM", so yeah, liar, cheat and fraud fits. AS I understand it, the OP was calling the seller a SCAM.
It may very well turn out to be true.
I don't really think so but I'm good if PROVEN wrong about that. I think with so much vigilante going on the seller has gone quite and the OP will get his stuff.
Because the seller has gone quiet, we don't know but it is not a conviction of SCAM.
I don't trust the buyer to publicize if he receives the goods. "Eat crow"?
The amount for shipping barley covers USPS and the last thing I ordered that shipped USPS tool 3 weeks for 250 miles away.
Basically, I'm slow to judgement of the seller but quick to point out that the buyer may need a little patience before assuming SCAM.
If the buyer can PROVE scam by the seller and the account was not hacked, I will send him the equal number of 30-06 or 270 brass for free, I'll pay shipping. I would send him 25-06 brass if I had it but I don't. He can make 25-06 from either.

I did not SCAM Byron P. I didn't receive any information from him as far as payment for the brass, his name nor his address.
Unfortunately I don't know where his funds went, because I NEVER provided my Zelle or Venmo Information at that time. I was waiting on him to contact me thru mu email address.
He messaged me about 15 minutes ago with his phone number. I called him and explained the circumstances and let him know the brass had since been sold on another site. All is good, clearly a blown out of proportion misunderstanding.

Apparently the OP posted his phone number sometime in the past. Someone likely saw that, saw him say "I'll take it" on an ad and then texted him info for payment, and then disappeared.
This is why posting your personal info is so dangerous. Any random dude can then text you and say "send payment here" when they see you try to buy. This can also be avoided most of the time by only dealing through PM here on the site.

I have since deleted my original post with that information but some people have quoted me with some of that info so I hope they will quickly delete their posts as well.
I'm also hoping either Chris or Len will just delete this thread. <sigh>
Good of you to do that. Just shows the proper thing to do is wait things out until everything is figured out.
