SCAM wrong, false alarm

Or

The account could be hacked but people are condemning the account owner. Publicizing personal information that probably is not the scammer. Basically going all vigilante. No trial, no evidence other than "out $60".

@ByronP seems pretty volatile, he has made multiple threats of violence. That is not rational. Well, he now calls those threats a "promise".

It is rational to "promise" to give someone an "old fashioned ASSWHIPPING" in public?

Is it rational to start a dumpster fire 11 hours after the agreement to sell/purchase before finding out what really happened?
I'm far from that I am really a great guy just don't like when people call me out ******** everyone on here is adults

Go check this out and what's transpired.

I already read that. That doesn't answer the question I asked.

Give it a few hours. Time frame that you sent the money, amount of time that has passed; perhaps he works somewhere with no cell phones/service, shift work, etc. Maybe he packed your brass, jumped in his truck, headed to work with the intention of dropping it off at the post office. Intending to give you the tracking or acknowledgment of the sale when he gets a chance.

I recently bought on here, got a received payment note and then nothing...four days later, box at the door. Not everyone is a savvy with online business.

But who are "they"

Is it rational to threaten violence then promise it over an internet posting? ;)
I don't know man, there was a time when you call someone a liar or a cheat and someone ended up in a gunfight out in the street.

Some people just deserve a good old fashioned licken'...I would say it is rational to do it...

You are side stepping the question.

Who perpetrated "you call someone a liar".

A little more seriously asking, is it rational to threaten violence then promise it over an internet posting?

Maybe the seller of the brass has a flip phone, a rotary dial phone and is too busy playing pong on his first gen Atari. We know one thing for sure, he's not here (was invited) and not a keyboard ninja.

I get that @ByronP is upset.

I get that he is venting.

When counseled to have a little patience he became more agitated.

Then people not involved "tracked down" and published personal information that probably has nothing to do with what is going on. Basically going vigilante.

When someone didn't agree with him, he threatened violence.

Did that help @ByronP or anyone?

Dude, this whole thread and the selling thread is about calling someone a liar.

You remind me of the three witches around the pot in that 80s movie Clash of the Titans...Hence why I asked if you were Jeff Seaman...
