Yes, I own two of them…lots of rolling ball effect in the glass at low end, but tracks like a dream. Once you get past 5 power the rolling ball effect goes away and the glass is great. I have definitely put it through its paces up here in Alaska…fully submerged it a few times, dropped it, packed it everywhere while guiding for goats this season…and it still held zero and tracked like a champ. I have never had a scope last the full season like that.

I'm not sure if they are lasting prices like that or not…I know Schmidt was lowering all the prices on their stuff in the US, but not sure if that is a temporary thing or not. I just ordered a 6-36x56mm in gray color on Saturday and am super thankful the prices are lower! 
Just return the one for full price and buy the discounted one!
Edit - I just read your post again and realized you already got the lower price. Yes, they are proud of their glass!
