Hesitantly putting up my beloved Tiger Shark. I shot a pile of rounds through it when I first got it. Accuracy dropped off after a while and I replaced the barrel. It currently has an aftermarket criterion barrel. 1-8" twist, 26" long, Savage varmint profile. Has precision ground recoil lug and barrel nut. I have put probably 300 rounds down the new barrel. It shoots great! It is a model 12 action with accutrigger (not the red blade version, this predates that variant on the model 12's). 4.27" action screw spacing. Has an EGW picarinny rail that can come with the rifle.
The bolt knob is missing a little blueing on top, my dad took a fall with it and it got a slight scuff. Stock is in very good shape overall, but the bottom of the recoil pad is a bit loose, I haven't tried to remedy that.
I modified the stagger feed, blind box magazine by taking out the spacer in the back, and also swapped out the bolt baffle to allow the bolt travel to be more extended. This allows me to feed 75 and 80 grain bullet loads from the magazine.
I have shot it to 800 yards routinely and out to 1,000 on occasion. Fun hammering steel with a .22 caliber rifle, way out there!
My go-to load is 75 grain eld-m bullets over H4895 in Lapua brass at 2900 fps. I had started working up an experimental 80 grain A-max load that shot very well. Never got it fine tuned. See attached picture of 5 shot group at 100 yards with the 80 grain load. That load was just over 2700 fps.
I really enjoyed this rifle, but it's "heavy" and I rarely get it out of the sale anymore.
Will be more than happy to answer questions, get additional pics, etc.
Asking 900 shipped. Can also meet FTF in northeast PA.
First "I'll take it" and PM will take it. Cross posted so will go by time stamp.
Thanks,
Jonathan
