Novice LRH wondering if anyone has or if i need to bed this rifle stock. The rifle comes with a h.s.precision stock. I believe that it has aluminum bedding blocks so wondering if there is any reason to bed. Thanks for the help

I would shoot it first. Mine is unaltered and and appears to be well bedded with consistent .25MOA 5 shot groups. Bedding screws are torqued to 40in/#. It's a 260 Rem.

Mine is also a .260 Rem I have shot it. Shoots about 1/2 moa. I would have had one group at .380 if i dint have one flyer. Thanks for the help I am trying to figure what the gun is capable of and what the jerk at the end of the trigger is doing. Maybe it is just me.:) I am still working on a good load to use.

I use Lapua brass, 45gr. H4831sc, 142SMK seated.025" off the lands. Fed210m primers. 2780FPS. Also get same accuracy using 140gr Berger VLD's seated .005" off the lands, 46 gr H4831sc, 2825FPS.
