This is about the slickest thing out there as of now

I'm doing two Boyd's ultralights until I can afford the MDT

^ this saved me the trouble!😉

One savage 110 long action in MDT LSS XL
One savage 112 long action in Choate Ultimate Varmint (have the save stock on my Savage Short action 12 BVSS IN 223).

Stock grip "feel" is a very individualized sense, so try as many as possible.
The rifle does not have to be exactly the same as your rig; your just checking the stock fit in all the gripping areas.
That includes the front of the mag well area if you use that area.
Do to issues with my trigger hand and wrist, I have been working on some laminated thumbhole stocks.
Some have needed a rasp and sanding in the grip area for the best fit.
Just my 2 cent observations.
Full opinions cost more...

Which did you like better ? Or rather, what made you switch?
MDT has some very well thought out chassis. I modified the heck out of my last one to get the weight down but ultimately went with the XLR due to the weight and features for the weight. Overall the XLR is better for my desires in this set up. For a comp rifle I'd likely rock the MDT. Both have pro's and cons, but are really very good products IMHO.
