Pornographic photos raise my lust factor. I may have to stray from MDT. Hot, hot, hot!Another vote for the Oryx. This is my .257 WBTY on a Savage 110 LA.

^ this saved me the trouble! This is about the slickest thing out there as of now
I'm doing two Boyd's ultralights until I can afford the MDT
HNT26 Chassis System
The first purpose-built hunting chassis from MDT. Weighing in starting at 26oz (for chassis stock, buttstock, forend and pistol grip combined), this is the most ultra-light hunting rifle chassis on the market.mdttac.com
Which did you like better ? Or rather, what made you switch?Mdt is what I ran on my savages. Haven't looked to confirm savage pattern but I switched to xlr element 4.0 and super happy. It's on my bighorn.
MDT has some very well thought out chassis. I modified the heck out of my last one to get the weight down but ultimately went with the XLR due to the weight and features for the weight. Overall the XLR is better for my desires in this set up. For a comp rifle I'd likely rock the MDT. Both have pro's and cons, but are really very good products IMHO.Which did you like better ? DIY - love it!Do not take my advice/idea, but I was having the exact same issue with a cheap Savage stock on a 12fv so I took a tube of water weld and form fitted my hand onto the grip. I like that it fills the palm of my hand. It's been on there for 3 years and around 400 rounds.
