Factory small shank, blued, heavy barrel in excellent condition. Less than 100 rounds through it. I re-barreled to .243 and there is lots of life left in this one. $95 shipped TYD in the CONUS.

It is the standard factory twist rate of 1 in 10". It measures 26" finished length, 24" from the throat to the crown.

Just trying to be helpful. I don't think Savage offered a 1:10. Most were 1:12 with 1:9 available on some models.

You are correct I miss measured. Did it again this morning and it is in fact 1 in 12. I have now learned to run the rod all they way through instead of pulling it back out. The Berger book also lists the barrel as a 1 in 12. Thanks for the help and the lesson learned.
