I can't for the life of me figure out why my Savage LRH was ejecting poorly...

Hehe. Just kidding.

Thought I'd throw this out there as a little reminder. Don't forget/put off your routine maintenance.

This was a $4, 10 minute fix. I knew it was marginal (the action has 3000 plus rounds on it), but kept putting it off due to laziness. With deer season coming up, I figured I'd better fix it.

Hate to have something that simple ruin a hunt.

My savage small parts include a stock of a few ejector springs, ejector retaining pins, extractors, oversize extractor balls. When i make my hunting trips a few parts & tools go with also.
When i built the "mancave" in the garage a while back a good cleaning of the old shelves found a "launched" ejector spring that was needed desperately at the time.
Told me it was time to stock up again!
