How did it go? I saw that they "hope" their theory works --- seems like quite a bit of $$ for a guess, but then again, if it pays off and they can save earth in the future then I guess it's worth it in the end...maybe

Nah, it was past us, plus it was just a satellite so no likely damage unless it acts like a Hammer at 14000mph+. More worried it will return in another orbit too close to us

So, we can hit an asteroid 7 million miles away with a stellite moving 15,000 miles an hour, but we can't produce enough primers. I think somebody needs to get their priorities straightened out.
