I am selling a few rifles to fund a custom build. If you are not familiar with this rifle it uses the same action as the TRG in a lighter configuration. The action is pillar bedded into a stock with an internal skelton. The barrel is 22" with a 1:10 twist and weights about 7 to 7.5 lbs. Sako stopped making these years ago due to their high production cost. I have shot 1/2 minute groups with Hornady 140gr SST... Having said that lighter rifles are great practice as they tend to pronounce mistakes. This is a great hunting rifle!
This rifle comes with 30mm rings and base ext (in the event your scope has a short tube).... Price $995 + shipping to your FFL w a flat rate of $50 w/in CONUS.
I also have a Sako TRGS in 300 Win Mag for sale on Gun Broker. I am putting them both up for sale at the same time to see what works the best. Both rifles are in good shape; however, if you want a like new rifle the 270 fits that build. I will add Pics.
