Sako S20 6.5 PRC??

I was so tempted to pick one of these up. Great value in my opinion. The proprietary mags was the only thing holding me back.

I had the pleasure of working up handloads for my nephew's s20 in 300 WM. I probably put 200 rounds down the barrel, but did finally get some 1/2 MOA loads at 300 yds with 4831SC (the only powder I could get) 70.0 gr, ELD-X 220's, and CCI 250 primers.
It was a delight to shoot, and I really appreciated the smooth action and adjustable stock.
He ended up dropping a cow elk at 508 yds on the first shot. She just rolled over.

I bought a spare mag from eurooptics with the rifle. $40 each. With the rifle on closeout it was still under $1300 shipped and taxed with the extra mag.

Yes, it's a very nice factory rifle for the price, especially when on sale.

The precision model is fluted so it may make that harder to do.

The 24" with can is pretty long. Not gonna lie, but I like it overall.

Yes, it's a very nice factory rifle for the price, especially when on sale.

I seriously have though about ordering a 6.5 PRC too, but can't justify another rifle right now.

I have a 6.5 PRC with the precision stock. In limited load development testing, it shot .49, .45, .88, and .97 MOA five shot groups at 170 yards. 140 grain ELD match projectiles, new lapua cases, CCI 200, and Norma MRP.

You have any issues with the magazine being very loose , sloppy , rattling , and noisy?
I just bought one and the 7 round mag is very shaky. It feeds fine but……..
