Looks like Ruger upped their game. I see the RPR is now avail in:

338 Lapua
300 Win Mag

Those cartridges just might attract some long-range hunters to the RPR.

I don't know the dimensions (haven't seen one yet), but at some point I'd like to see someone look critically at the Lapua from that stand point.

I want one in 6 Creedmoor. I just missed asale at Academy that had them below $700.

I do not own the rpr but I do have a ruger American predator and out of the box with factory 140 federal fusion it was shooting 3/4 groups so that's a testament to the fact that whatever ruger is doing they are doing it right. I thinks it's safe to say the rpr should be better that the 400 dollar American which is already a decent rifle. Just my opinion take it for what you will

Heck of a buy! I thought it was great when I grabbed one at $749!

Ruger is putting these things out at a great price. I've only got about 40 rounds through mine. Better start looking for another barrel later this year!
