Ruger no.1 gunsmiths

looking to get some work done on a New Ruger No.1.
Any one have a recommendation on guys that work on these.
A Smith who has experience with No. 1's ?

If its trigger related work, I'll contact him also. Triggers on all 3 of mine are kinda heavy and inconsistent.

Never was able to find any gunsmith in my part of MO that wanted to touch the triggers.

Discussed options, if needed.
Trigger work, free float, scope rail & rings.
He also does re-bbl, & synthetic stocks

Recommend Mark Penrod of Penrod Precision in North Manchester, IN. He has worked on my No. 1's and excellent. Great trigger job. Does own rings etc. Barrels, Rifle builds and so on. Be prepared to wait which is always an indicator of any good smith.

I have a Canjar I was going to put in-after he did the trigger it no longer needs it. The synthetic stocks are pillar bedded, and very functional. I might have him put on a carbon fiber barrel once I work out what to chamber it in.
