I have a Ruger No 1 in 257 weatherby that is an awesome rifle but I never take it out of the safe.
I bought it last year, worked up a handload for it that shot 1/2" at 100 yards and put it up. Currently shooting 100gr Barnes TTSX's @ 3,547 fps out of the 28" barrel w/ H1000.
It is an absolute laser beam - bought it for antelope hunting out West but always shoot suppressed so this never makes the trip. Current round count is roughly 50.
Looked up current prices on this - as far as I know it's a Lipsey's special run with the 28" barrel - sold listings range from $1,900 to $2,500.
I'm asking $1,850 for it and will pass along the handload recipe and any brass that I have for it along with the rifle.
I currently has a fixed 12x leupold scope on it, that could be included for $2,000 all in.
